True Nature is Revealed During Adverse Times
Adversity blatantly reveals the true nature of who we are. Who we are is obvious in the decisions we make, the actions we take, the thoughts we have, and the judgment and blame we use to deflect from our own personal response-ability, and what masters we are at manipulation and disguise as we hide behind our superficial facade to feed those around us with the image we wish to portray.
Yet it is during adverse times that the true nature of people cannot be hidden. It has been fascinating to observe the personality and nature of others as their belief systems, their definitions, their labels, their morals, all lack thereof, their ignorance, their defiance, and their entitlement have surfaced during these adverse times.
Adversity and emotional breakdowns are the perfect opportunity to discover ourselves. My humble opinion is that most people do not know themselves and have absolutely no idea of their true nature, their creative skills, or their dormant potential. They are a product of social, emotional, religious and economic indoctrination, and live a prescribed life, until they die, unhealthy, unhappy, unfulfilled, and unlived.
