Exposing the Truth - Fact vs. Fake in the Modern Information War
Info wars are very real. The winners always have the most financing and the best placement, namely at the top of the Google Search pages. Since 2020, it has become rather evident how easily fact checks can deceive people, sway their opinions and influence their decisions. The sad part is that the very organisations we once trusted are complicit in spreading false information.
False information is propaganda and very real in our day and age. As time goes by, we become more and more aware of how every aspect of our daily lives has been decided for us without our knowledge through the subliminal messaging strategically projected into our peripheral field.
Awareness of subliminal and emotional manipulation is extremely important which then coerces us into practicing critical thinking, reflecting on our believes, asking better questions and researching different answers. I sometimes feel quite alone with my tendency to question everything that is or isn't.
