Inform vs. Mislead - The Attention War
Kim.E discusses the deception and manipulation prevalent in today's society, and how our tendency to automatically believe presented information can blind us from the truth. She highlights the importance of critical thinking and questioning all sources of information, considering how many alleged leaders provide misleading information for personal gain. She also discusses the transformative power of accurate information and the ongoing struggle for knowledge control amid a societal awakening from a naive stupor.
“Mislead and Inform. Just because our mind automatically believes the information it is presented, doesn't make it factual nor true.”

The Power of Information: Are We Being Misled?
The deception and manipulation of our times is incredible. Gone are the days when we automatically trusted a well-dressed person with an academic title, or an individual in a high-level political or corporate position, or the self-proclaimed expert. We are finally learning to think critically and to question ourselves, our motives, our beliefs, and everything we consume mentally.
To mislead is to lead or guide wrongly. Because we have so many wannabe leaders with massive, status-driven egos, who will do whatever is necessary to have the blissfully ignorant masses follow them, they cunningly provide misleading information to lead the masses on a path they desire, which normally entails personal power or financial gain for the wannabe leader.
Information means: formative, shaping, having power to form or animate. Knowledge is power. Knowledge is acquired through information, which is why all sources of information are controlled by the powers at large, although that is a battle they are thankfully losing, which is why we are experiencing the great awakening, what I call the waking up from the naive stupor we all found ourselves in.
If information is what forms or moulds our mental, physical and emotional well-being from the inside, why aren’t most people doing their damndest to find expansive information to be shaped by? Dunno! Damn good question?
