Overcoming Adversity: Transforming Your Relationship with Money
Because I am a person who has suffered a penniless and desperate state numerous times in my life, I understand and appreciate the complicated, unhealthy relationship I have with money. A relationship that was nurtured by social and economic influences and my upbringing with a dysfunctional money program I inherited from my parents, which connected personal value or creative value, or the lack thereof, to money.
I also understand that most people who face great adversity and work through it, have personal growth spurts that are astounding, and they come out on the other side much stronger and far more capable than those who live comfortable lifestyles. Those who enjoy the comfort and predictability their life offers also have the money to afford therapists and pay for expensive personal growth programs, yet seldom do, whereas those without money would love to have that help, but lack the finances.
My love language is to help people, especially those, who regardless of their financial status, are courageous, open and willing enough to have their booty kicked into a positive, changed reality, so they can show up as the respectable, authentic role models their environment is sorely lacking.
